Scores are ours. We compute them from six criteria in the published rubric — nothing else moves them. Reader reviews sit beside the score, never inside it. Some networks pay us a referral fee when you sign up; those are marked Sponsored, and payment has no effect on rank. Where a paying network scores lower, it ranks lower.
